Fur Face Boy Series 6 is FINALLY set to release THIS SATURDAY, December 17th!
Here’s a closer look and the inspiration behind each piece from the new series…
FFB TARTAN PLAID - I figured that since my brand and believe it or not, myself continue to grow and mature, I’d use a more grown-up pattern to fill in the FFB face. The image below doesn’t do much justice, but the detail on this pattern when seen up close and personal is pretty amazing! See HERE.
BEAR MAI BY FFB - Inspired by some of my most favorite classics……BEAR MAI LIVES ON!
FFB ARGYLE – A twist on a classic pattern! Argyle –>T-shirt<– anyone?
FFB CREST - When I traveled to London earlier in the year, I saw LOADS upon LOADS of crests. I guess they stuck in my mind long enough for me to make a FFB crest.
ASTRO FUR 2.0 - Back when I first started FFB in 2009, I released a very low run of the Astro Fur tee. This shirt has always been one of my most favorite FFB tee’s, so I figured I bring it back, but only this time with a slight see through twist!
FFB SPRINGFIELD – Inspired by one of my favorite and greatest TV shows of all-time! Also, what FFB is saying on this shirt is inspired from my personal life!
FUR FIGHTER BOY – Inspired by Hadokens and Shoryukens………and a little Yoga Fire.
FFB FLORAL POCKET TEE – I noticed that pocket tee’s and floral patterns are all the rage now. So what did I do? I made a pocket tee with a custom FFB floral pattern. YUP! FFB ZIPPY - I brought back the FFB zippy from last year, only this time I made the FFB logo slightly bigger, added a small detail on the back and printed it on a cranberry color. Classic, comfy and cozy! Good times for all!
FFB POLO - My dad kept on bugging me that I needed to have a collared FFB shirt, so I promised him I’d have one in this series. This one’s for you dad : )
And there you have it, FUR FACE BOY SERIES 6! As you can see, I wanted this series to be a bit more grown-up by using a lot of patterns, deeper colors and a thrown in collar. In the end, I still stayed consistent to myself and my brand via the production and personality of each piece. So what did you guys think? I know I say this EVERY single time I release a new series, but I personally have to say that this is my most favorite series as of yet! Series 6 releases online on the FFB webstore at midnight, Monday, December 19th.
AND HEY! Have you heard? Me and my buddies over at WE ARE 1976 will be having the release party THIS Saturday, December 17th from 7pm – 10pm. There’s not only gonna be Series 6 on hand, but there’s also gonna be a special FFB ♥ We Are 1976 collab tee (which we will reveal tomorrow)! Also prepare to get your dranky-drank on (via adult beverages and sodas), munch on some munchies, salivate in awe via a special appearance from the super delicious, Nammi Truck and groove to mixes and spins from the legendary, DJ Love! My buddies Reid and Billy will also be partying with us while taking photos and shooting videos at the release!
