MUSTACHE JOURNEY: DAY 24
INTRO: For this month in the RANDOM blog, I've decided to document myself growing (or atleast trying to grow) a mustache. Though I am THE Fur Face Boy, I must admit...I suck at growing facial hair. I know, weird huh? Anyways, follow my ridiculous journey as I will update my progress 3 times per week (every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) with a detailed analysis of the progression / non-progression.
DAY 24: Yea I know, I HAVE been slacking on my mustache updates as of late, but it's only because the progression isn't that great. I DID actually trim the ends of my mustache a bit though. It was weird cause I noticed that when I laughed or smiled too much, those areas of my mustache would itch. NOTE: As I drove to work yesterday morning I looked in my rearview mirror and actually said to myself..."This mustache looks alright...I guess?" A keeper? We shall see!
DAY 21: My mustache looks terrifying and I hate it, but then I think of all the great talents who have mustaches just as bad or even worse than mine. Take for example Michael Jordan, Leonardo DeCaprio and Kid Cudi. All three legendary, yet all three with terrifying mustaches just like mine! Does this make me legendary? NO. DAY 17: I've been shampooing my mustache hoping that it will make it grow thicker and fuller, but that AIN'T working...I seriously think my mustache is at a stand-still, I mean just compare this latest photo with the last photo and it's barely changed! I have about 2 more weeks and I SERIOUSLY cannot wait to shave! NOTE: My favorite black t-shirt (that I've been wearing for every update) was in the laundry, so today I wore my favorite blue T-shirt instead. I figure that since it's the half way point, I might continue on with this blue shirt. This is my blog, so I'll do whatever I want to do, so I guess we'll see.
DAY 12: It seems as though my mustache's progression is at a stand-still. I went ahead and trimmed the rest of my facial hair down so that emphasis can be directly on the mustache itself. I am also now starting to feel just how ULTRA, MEGA, HYPER stupid I look. Everyday when I look in the mirror I want to shave this damn thing off SO badly, BUT...since I've commited myself to the ENTIRE world, I'm going to keep it going. UGH.
DAY 9: It seems as though my mustache is getting a bit thicker. I haven't started trimming nor grooming it yet, but I'm hoping sometime next week I can clean it up some.
DAY 7: MY mustache is kinda-sorta starting to take shape. It's kinda-sorta starting to fill in the middle a slight tad and the ends are kinda-sorta thickening up some.
DAY 4: A small bit of progression has been made. It seems as though the mustache has potential to be fairly thick yet a bit spotty. The middle doesn't seem to be filling in evenly.
DAY 1: I started with a cleanly shaved upper lip.
NOTE: The focus of the Mustache Journey is solely the progression of the upper lip facial hair and nothing else.
NOTE 2: I will be wearing the same shirt for every update for consistency sake.
