OTHER SHIT TOO
Though I make Fur Face Boy a GARGANTUAN portion of my life, there's also life outside of it. I didn't post a new post on this blog all last week, so I figure why not post some reasons why I didn't (please excuse the shitty iPhone pictures)...
I was running a half marathon. This may sound a bit strange to you, but let me tell you why I run. Before every run, I like to set ridiculous goals. Take for example, I'm about to run 13.1 miles. Before my run, I say to myself..."Finish this run, non-stop without walking and Fur Face Boy WILL HAVE a spectacular 2010." If I don't finish this run, non-stop without walking then I'll only have myself to blame if Fur Face Boy doesn't have a spectacular 2010.
See, I told you it may sound strange to you. Oh well, I just use every motivational push I can. Here's another one...
Can we expect a spectacular year for Fur Face Boy in 2010? The chances of that are so far looking pretty good...
FOOD BREAK! OH MAN! I love me some fried chicken! My favorite fried chicken (and mashed potatoes) of all-time has got to be POPEYE'S! How bout you? Email me and let me know!
Let's not forget that I still have a day job too. And we all know, with day jobs, come MANDATORY day job functions. Ugh. Every year at the company I work for, we have a holiday luncheon and gift exchange. The person who creates the best gift wins an extra 50 bucks. I'm just gonna say this - first ever 4 year champ. WHAT! (Sorry, I can't show you what I made cause it'll give away where I work at. Boooooooo...)
I also developed a weirdass rash throughout my entire body! I took some Benedryl and it went away. A day later...IT CAME BACK! But then I took some Benedryl again and it went away again. (That's my arm. It looks kinda like a hamstring, back of a knee and calf though huh?)
The absolute toughest part of my week has got to be the OG FFB getting 14 teeth (due to old, brittle and rotting teeth) and a developing mouth tumor removed! OUCH! Here he is on Tuesday morning before we entered the dreaded veterinarian office. F ! He had one swelled up ass face!
He stayed at the vet until Thursday morning. Here he is after the 14 teeth and tumor removal. He was pretty beaten and so was I.
This was what the rest of my entire Thursday was like. Bear Mai means ALOT to me, so seeing him in pain and me not being able to do anything to help was HORRIFIC! I felt so helpless. Definitely the worst day of my 2009. CAUTION! WATCH ONLY IF YOU WANT TO CRACK YOUR HEART!
Today, the OG FFB is doing much better. He's not quite 100% just yet, but I'm sure he'll get there pretty soon. Thanks to everyone who emailed and tweeted me their love and support. Bear Mai and I both greatly appreciate it! Anyways, I also found some time to do some holiday shopping. At the mall, I ate a Chick-fil-a Breakfast Biscuit meal. Chick-fil-a breakfast biscuits are pure greatness! The mall on the other hand is not.
I got this Dr. Doom mask for my dad for Christmas...Just kidding. My dad would kill me if I got him that! I should've got it for myself though. Only $99 and comes with a display stand too?! Why did I pass that deal up!?
I also found some time to start a new hand drawing. I spend so much time doing shit on the computer, that every year I like to try to draw 1 special hand drawing. Not only does it take me away from my computer but it's also a good reminder to myself that it ALL started off with my love for drawing. I only have about a week and a half left before this year is up, so I'm hoping I can finish it soon. (YES. My drawing desk is an old drafting desk tabletop that I just lay on my bed. Ghetto? I know. But shit man! It works!)
DAMN! I love eating fruit snacks! (I just wanted to let you guys know) So there you have it. Though I'm always in FFB mode, I do and handle other shit too.
