WEBSTORE NOW OPEN!
After alot of hard work and determination I can finally say that the Fur Face Boy webstore is now open for business! Be one of the first to purchase these very limited shirts all from the comforts of your own home! I also put up for sale only 2 of each size of those extremely limited (only 48 printed) City Exclusives. So if you're up for one of those, try to snag one ASAP. A MONSTEROUS THANKS to EVERYONE who has supported, motivated and shown FFB much love. Without your support, my drive to start this brand surely wouldn't have been as strong. Series 2 is already in the works, so watch for it!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
Well, if you guys have been keeping up with this blog, you may already know that I I've been wanting to share some BIG news and today I can finally announce it (drum roll please)...FUR FACE BOY IS NOW AT SHOGUN! So as of right now, the ONLY place to get your FFB is there! C'mon, let's take a look at what's inside...
...WOW! Breath taking isn't it? If you've never been out to Shogun you should plan on it! Not just because the set up will TOTALLY explode your mind, but also because they carry a wide variety of tees, button-ups, pants, jeans and a whole lot more from some of today's hottest brands in street wear.

Also while you're there, be sure to say "Hi" to Trisha! She's the First Lady of Shogun! Man, that's a cool shirt she has on...WELL DUH! It's a Fur Face Boy! Really Trisha? I'm really your best friend forever? I'm flattered.
Also say "What's up?!" to Shogun John. John loves Transformers so much that he's literally a Transformer head! While you're at Shogun, you'll notice that there are Transformers all over the place and they were all provided by, you guessed it...John. John's seen here in his FFB Street Wear tee.
Here's a funny story...After dropping off the FFB shirts, quickly inventory them and putting them on display, I decided to step out for awhile. While I was gone, a customer immediately saw the Fur Face Boy shirts on display and bought one! It wasn't just any FFB shirt either, it was one of those EXCLUSIVE shirts! WOW! I hope this only means nothing but good signs for FFB. Alot of times I like to read this blog and it's crazy to see just how much FFB has grown since my first post in January. To see how I made it to this point and to know that I have so much more to do really excites me! Nothing's gaurenteed though, so I'm gonna keep at it and try to bring FFB into more shops across the nation! (as well as the web) BIG Thanks to the Shogun Crew for taking a chance on FFB! I definitely see us working on many collabs in the future! So watch for it!
Oh yea, in case you were wondering where I was when FFB history was being made...I was next door at Potbelly buying a sandwich.

THIS PAST WEEKEND
FRIDAY - After work I went home and fell asleep. My original plan was to come home and immediately help my mom sew labels onto the rest of the Fur Face Boy series 1 shirts, but I was so tired from staying up late every night for the past week that I had to take advantage of it being Friday. I figured it was ok that me and mom could tackle the labeling on Saturday instead. I woke up at like 10 pm to use the bathroom and saw my mom already sewing labels onto the shirts! My mom reminded me that her and my dad were going out of town for the weekend and that if I needed these labels sewn on, that tonight had to be THE night! I was now wide awake...FUR FACE BOY TIME!
As mom was sewing, me and Bear Mai (The Original Fur Face Boy) ate string cheese, separated shirt sizes, styles, and removed the shirts manufacture label. We stayed up until 7 am! Time went by super fast though because working with mom is actually pretty cool / fun. I told my mom that if FFB ever becomes successful that she'll never have to work another day in her life - that includes sewing on these labels for me. Then shes says to me..."I don't mind sewing these labels on for you because I like the time we spend together." I then told my mom to..."Get real, you know you'd rather be on a beach chill'n!" Then she says..."Yea. That's true."
SATURDAY - I woke up at about 2 pm to see that my mom and dad had already left for their weekend trip. My mom even had some egg sandwiches prepared for me to eat when I woke up! Man, my mom is the best! Anyways, after egg sandwiches I started the day regathering up all of the shirts to jot down inventory.
Taking inventory can be hell! But I had some practice when I was mailing out shirts across the nation during the past few months. Doing this also reminds me of doing shoe breakdowns when I used to work at Just For Feet a longass time ago. UGH!
I had some friends stop by to hang out for a bit and to check out FFB progress. Before I knew it, it was already like 11 pm! When my friends left, I got right back on it - tagging, folding, bagging and more!
I NEVER folded a shirt perfectly the first time. I had to fold a shirt about 3 times over before getting the perfect fold. I was so sick of folding shirts! I needed a better / faster way so I hopped onto youtube and found this video:
20 minutes after watching that video, I made my very own T-shirt folder! Shirt folding was now a breeze!
Though shirt folding had become a breeze, my body was wearing from all the shifting, standing and leaning over. My back, shoulders, knees and feet felt as though they were replaced with parts from a zombie. It was 5 am and I had 2 more loads of sizes to go. My excitement pushed me to keep going, but my body was screaming for rest! I gave in and listened to my body. I was going to bed.
SUNDAY - I woke up at 12 pm and got right back at it.
FINALLY! FFB series 1 is all tagged, folded, bagged, boxed and ready to go! I have just a few more very, very, very minor details to straighten out before the webstore opens (I'm targeting it to open THIS weekend). I have a BIG announcement coming very soon and also will be posting previews of each shirt this week, so be sure to check in daily. Anyways, it's probably pretty obvious that the rest of my day consisted of sleep. I woke up at 9 pm so now I'm wide awake to post this. It's currently 2:30 am and I'm probably not going to be sleepy until 5 am. As for waking up and going to work tomorrow, I mean this morning - I'm pretty much screwed.
One final note - I wanna thank my 2 older brothers for moving out of the house allowing me to transform their rooms into zones 2 and 3 of the Fur Face Boy Factory!

Bee's a big-time movie buff and a huge Chan-wook Park (Old Boy, Sympathy For Mr. / Lady Vengeance, Three Extremes) fan! Any fan of Chan-wook Park is definitely a friend 'o mine! Thanks for the pictures guys! Even though I'm done with mailing out free FFB shirts across the nation, I'm still hoping to get some more photos of you guys in FFB to trickle on in. Like I've ALWAYS been saying...FFB would be nothing without YOU! That's why I make it a priority / staple of the brand to showcase as many of you in FFB as much as possible (The FFB family). FINALLY!
Yesterday after work, I made it to the post office to mail off the last of the Fur Face Boy U.S. 50!
Ever since February, I've been taking down names, addresses and shirt sizes so that I could cover the entire U.S. in Fur Face Boy! Though it's taken 4 months, the feeling of accomplishing something this big (atleast in my eyes) is truly AMAZING! Doing this project allowed me to get a sense of record keeping, inventory checking, customer care, following up, time managment and shipping. These things were some of the things that never even crossed my mind when starting FFB. Many thought I was crazy / stupid to do this, but I've come to learn so much! Now, I'm better prepped on how to handle these things in the future! I strongly believe that only good can come about if you work hard at something, and trust me when I say it took loads of hard work...
...time...
...and money.
In the end, I'm EXTREMELY proud to say...
This is just the beginning...

DEAR MOM,
There's no one who even comes close to the love and care that you provide for me. I appreciate everything that you do for me. When I'm hungry - you're quick to feed me. When I'm feeling sick - you're quick to care for me. When I'm out late - you're the first to call me. When dad's mad at me - you're always there to defend me. When I'm feeling down and depressed - you're the only one who takes notice. When I'm confused and frustrated - you're the first one to talk sense into me. When I'm fed up and annoyed - you're the first to hear me out. When I'm up wayyy too late working on projects - you're the only one to force me to go to sleep. When I'm alone and have nobody to talk to - I know that you'll ALWAYS be there. My whole entire life span will never be filled with enough thanks you's for all of the things that you do for me. So from the deepest pits and canals of my heart, I truly mean it when I say that you're the best mom in this WHOLE ENTIRE UNIVERSE! Happy Mother's Day to my #1 girl - my mom!

WOW! I can't say just how much I really appreciate all the love Fur Face Boy is receiving! FFB would absolutely be nothing without YOU! So THANK YOU! I've barely broken the surface of what I think I can actually accomplish, so stay tuned! As for videos, art, munny's, photos of you in FFB and e-mails....KEEP 'EM COMING! THE MIDWEST AND YOU!
I can't believe it's already May! Last month, one of my biggest goals was to finish mailing out Fur Face Boy shirts to the rest of the remaining states without FFB. I'm extremely disappointed to say that I didn't meet that goal. DAMMIT! I only have 3 states left: North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska! I'm determined to pass out a FFB shirt to these states within this week, so watch out midwest United States! I'm out for you!
So yea, anyways...enough about that - Let me intoduce you to some BRAND SPANK'N, SPARKL'N NEW Fur Face Boy family members! YESSSS! First up, we have the lovely KIM NIETO! Kim's from..."the state that's untouchable like Elliot Ness." (California. DUH!) Looking oh so rad in her Incredible Fur Face Boy tee, Kim had this to say..."Fur Face Boy is my new husband." Uhhhhh...HUSBAND?!?! Z-Z-Z-ZOINKS!
This here is my man WAYNE FRYER holding down FFB all the way in Augusta, Georgia. Wayne has his own start up label too...TEENAGE TRENDSETTAZ CLOTHING. Check it out and buy some of his shirts while you're there! Ever since I started Fur Face Boy a few months back, I've been coming across ALOT of kids who are trying to start up their own T-shirt brand too and I think IT'S GREAT! We all motivate and pick at each other's brains so that we all can build our brands up to be even stronger and even better by the day!
All the way from Narragansett, Rhode Island is ALEX BESSON. Alex tells me that he's been getting tons of FFB inquiries everytime he wears his Fur Face Boy shirt, to which he proudly tells ALL what's up! Thanks Alex! I hope that you'll continue to spread the FFB word!
And lastly, from Mississippi is Jae Glenn aka BOOGIE. Check out Boogie's blog and listen to some of his music while you're there! And in case you're wondering what the "L" Boogie is raising up in his picture means, it's not what you may think...it actually means LEGENDARY. I guess I need to get caught up with the times.
Well, again...I still can't believe that it's already May! Everyday I'm ironing out just a few more kinks and tying up those last loose ends before the webstore can finally open up. I have a strong feeling that THIS MONTH will be THE month! I also have some other BIG announcements that I'll be announcing within the next week or so, so be sure to check out the site daily.
